Dental Health

Data from the National Survey of Adult Oral Health 2004-06 has been released by the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare (AIHW) this week. National Survey of Oral Health publications have been released for each State and Territory.

These provide a detailed snapshot of oral health including:
  • levels of oral disease
  • perceived oral health and patterns of dental treatment
  • dental insurance
  • government assistance for dental care
The AIHW also released a summary report on the Oral Health of Adult Public Dental Patients utilising data from the oral health survey.
